For automatic reading, yes — Manuscribe uses your own Anthropic API key, entered once in the Studio and never stored on the server. A page typically costs a few cents of API usage. Without a key you still get the staves detected and a full editor to enter notes by hand.
Good enough to save you most of the typing, not good enough to skip proofreading. Each staff is read on its own at full resolution, uncertain notes are coloured so you know where to look, and you can ask the AI to re-read or double-check a single staff.
